Are
produced by wrapping a wire helically around support rods to create a
cylinder with continuous slot openings. The wires are automatically
resistance welded to each support rod producing a very strong wedgewire
cylinder with excellent beam, burst and collapse strength. Resistance
welded cylinders produce screens with slot openings to .004 and very large
percentage of open area. The screens are widely used in water intakes, fish
diversion, food and beverage
processing, architectural, and
petrochemical applications.

This
construction is unique to Hendrick. The mechanically interlocked design is
perfect for applications that require high strength and a very flat
surface. We believe it's the strongest construction available on the
market. And it is used heavily in cylindrical applications. It can
be manufactured in slot openings as close as 0.005" and flatness to
.060.
Profile Bar screens are used in Fish
Diversion, Petrochemical, Pulp & Paper, Waste Water, Food, and
Architectural industries.
